In a unique cooperation with the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (HvA), SPECTO’s 2019 Boot Camp Composite Repairs started on 09^th December, aiming to introduce the dynamic world of Composite Repairs in the aerospace environment to a team of 11 students which are about to finish their degree.

During this one-week boot camp SPECTO these students will be practicing to work with composites including:

·         fabrication multi-layer prepreg sample

·         damage prepreg sample + creating cut-outs

·         preparing wet-layup repairs to sample panels

·         Performing Damage Assessments (DA) and creating Shop Work Orders based on DA and Maintenance Data

·         Validating & discussing Shop Work Orders and explanation to the Certification Process

·         and many more aspects of the daily shop practices at SPECTO.....

This is another activity of SPECTO Aerospace…..creating a future and welcome young, dynamic and skilled workforce.
