On 04 April 2022 SPECTO received the authorization of Leonardo for the replacement of the tip caps of AW109 and AW119 rotor blades. After a preparation of more than a year, where tools were purchased, scrap blades organized, and training completed the approval leads the way to an extended customer support in blade repair.

SPECTO Aerospace at Woensdrecht Airbase in The Netherlands is an OEM approved repair station for helicopter rotor blades and composite structures, including radomes. Next to Leonardo, the company is licensed by Boeing and MD Helicopters.
