Marco Brinkman steps down as Managing Director and Accountable Manager; Marc Wittingen takes over as Interim Managing Director.

Airborne Services bv was founded in 2014 by Marco Brinkman with a focus on the maintenance and repair of Civil and Military Helicopter Rotor Blades and Composite Structures. In 2018 it became part of the SPECTO Aerospace Group.

During the years the strategic partnership with the Air Support Command of the Royal Netherlands Air & Space Force at Woensdrecht Airbase was deepened. Under the licensing of Leonardo and Boeing OEM quality MRO Services with reduced Turn Around Time is offered.

Following the successful growth, a new, large, state-of-the-art facility was developed and built in 2025 at the Business Parc Aviolanda in Hoogerheide, the Netherlands, part of the HIVE Aerospace Collective.

With SPECTO Services bv entering into a new phase, Marco Brinkman steps down as Managing Director and Accountable Manager. As of June 8^th 2026, Marc Wittingen, who has over 25 years of experience in both military and civil aerospace MRO, has been assigned as Interim Managing Director of SPECTO Services bv, while Jeroen Mast, founder of SPECTO Aerospace Group, will be the Accountable Manager.

SPECTO Services bv will continue to provide rotary wing customers with the highest-level quality rotor blade and composite helicopter component repair services that the market is used to receive, while in parallel, new capabilities will gradually be added to the scope.

SPECTO wants to thank Marco Brinkman for creating and developing SPECTO Services bv to the successful repair centre it is today.
